COVID-19: the situation as of July 2 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

As of the morning of July 2, 570 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

5 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

314 people have recovered  

9 persons have died.
  
20 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 227 are on outpatient treatment.

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have made 7 visits, 60 samples of biological materials have been collected for polymerase chain reaction test. 

In Transcarpathia, during the past day, July 1, 85 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19

Overall, as of 9:00 am on July 2, 2020, 3046 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 464 are health care workers and 171 are children. Overall, 97 people with the confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 have died. 26157 polymerase chain reaction tests have been carried out. 975 patients have recovered.  

In Ukraine, 889 new patients with coronavirus disease COVID-19 have been registered in the past 24 hours. In total, 45887 cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Ukraine.

During the past 24hrs, 12 have patients died, in total – 1185. The highest number of fatalities was registered in Kyiv (3), Transcarpathian (2) region.

Over the past 24hrs, 505 have people recovered, in total – 20053.

In total, there are 24649 infected currently in Ukraine, which is 372 more than the day before.

Most new cases were recorded in Lviv (152) region, the city of Kyiv (104), Rivne (95), Transcarpathian (85) and Volyn (81) regions.
