COVID-19 situation in Transcarpathia and Ukraine as of May 1

COVID-19 situation in Transcarpathia as of 9 am May 1: 
53 Transcarpathians, who had PCR-confirmed coronavirus, have recovered 
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 432 persons have been diagnosed with COVID-19, of whom 112 are health care workers, 19 are children. 
9 people with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 have died

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on May 1, there have been 10861 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 272 were fatal, 1413 patients have recovered. During the day, 455 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in: 
Vinnytsia region – 425 cases; 
Volyn region – 307 cases; 
Dnipropetrovsk region – 364 cases;  
Donetsk region – 70 cases; 
Zhytomyr region – 390 cases; 
Transcarpathian region – 432 cases; 
Zaporizhzhya region – 260 cases; 
Ivano-Frankivsk region – 899 cases; 
Kirovohrad region – 392 cases; 
Kyiv – 1453 cases; 
Kyiv region – 694 cases; 
Lviv region – 454 cases;  
Luhansk region – 35 cases; 
Mykolaiv region – 126 cases; 
Odesa region – 296 cases; 
Poltava region – 211 cases; 
Rivne region – 658 cases; 
Sumy region – 103 cases; 
Ternopil region – 793 cases; 
Kharkiv region – 274 cases; 
Kherson region – 120 cases; 
Khmelnytsky region – 92 cases; 
Chernivtsi region – 1667 cases; 
Cherkasy region – 296 cases; 
Chernihiv region – 50 cases. 
The tests were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of May 1, 2020, the Center has received 1254 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases.
