Yesterday, border guards together with customs officials found in one of the freight trains a cache with contraband tobacco products, the press service of the SBS informed.
The cigarettes were found in the freight train "Zolotonoshyne – Epereszke" at the checkpoint "Salovka" in Transcarpathia. Unknown persons hid in the ore 4250 packs of "Fest" made in Belarus without excise stamps. They were buried in the pellets to a depth of 15 cm in front of the car.
The seized more than 4 thousand packs of cigarettes were handed over to employees of the fiscal service according to the law.
