Containers for collecting used things for needy people will be installed in Uzhgorod

You will be able to leave there any things, that may be needed by low-income, donations, the Uzhgorod city council informs.
 The vandal-proof containers will be provided by the company "AVE-Uzhgorod" employees of Uzhgorod city organization of the Red Cross will be looking after them, taking out the things and distributing them to those who need them.
At the meeting with the heads of utilities, contractors and service organizations, they decided that one of the containers will be set near the Orthodox Cathedral on Svoboda Avenue, another one – near the "Zhyva voda" and the Treasury building (near Fedynets street).

These locations were chosen because of the heavy pedestrian traffic there. If the practice of gathering things using such containers is successful, there may be more of them in the future.
