Chop border guards detained a group of Asians

Last weekend, Chop border guards detained another group of illegal immigrants.

Three people from the Asian region, seeking a better life, decided to get to Slovakia. Since they did not have necessary documents, they decided to do it illegally bypassing the checkpoint. However, in 500 meters to the Ukrainian-Slovak border, the "travelers" were detained by border guard unit "Uzhgorod". As in most cases of detention of illegal migrants, the men did not have any documents to confirm their identities. The detainee said to border guards that they were citizens of Pakistan and were going to Austria. The men also reported that they had planned the route to Slovakia using maps from the internet.

The offenders were taken to the unit in order to clarify the circumstances of the offense and to draft administrative and procedural documents. The decision on legal liability and further fate of detainees will be taken by court.
