Children of IDPs in Transcarpathia for the first time mastered new techniques of Easter egg making

On Saturday, April 4, at the premises of the Regional organizational and methodical center of culture, there was a master class on Easter egg making for children of IDPs. The festive event was organized by the Regional organizational and methodical centre of culture and the NGO "Transcarpathian community."

The event was attended by masters who showed the children two techniques of Easter egg making.    "Children were glad to work on Easter egg making. I’m glad that such workshops are held. It was easy to work with the children who have come today. Some of the made Easter eggs will be sent to our defenders in the East" – mistress Tetyana said.

The event was aimed to help IDPs adapt in Uzhgorod.

"I want the traditions of Ukrainian people to not be forgotten. As long as there is Easter egg, there is love, joy and hope for a better future in the world!" – the director of the Regional organizational and methodical centre of culture Hanna Drohalchuk shared her thoughts.

The kids took some of the Easter eggs with them to put in their Easter baskets, and gave others to decorate the Easter egg tree that residents and guests of Uzhgorod will be able to see on April 9.
