On November 21, at 19.00, charming vocalist from New York Jackie Gage with sensual soul-jazz will perform in the Art Center "ILKO Gallery"!
Jackie was born in San Jose, California. She quickly gained popularity in her town and proceeded to conquer the whole of California, where she performed in prestigious clubs and participated in music festivals. In 2014, Jackie became finalist of the Jazz Search West and one of the first winners of Leigh Weimers Emerging Artists. Gage also performed at such jazz festivals as Fillmore Jazz Festival, San Jose Summer Fest and Berkeley Juneteenth.
But the real popularity came with the move to New York, and the release of her debut self-produced album "Siren Songs" in 2016. In it, Jackie demonstrated her full dynamic range, combining R & B with slow jams, jazz and soul. The album was well received by both her fans and the press.
