According to Nataliya Arkhipova, first group disabled, member of Transcarpathian Association of Disabled Suffering from Renal and Cardiovascular Diseases, treatment of such patients costs at least 5-6 thousand UAH a month.
Scince the medicines are very expensive, the state accepted to pay some expenses themselves by having adopted in 2010 a program to support patients with renal diseases. However, according to Nataliya, during the first 9 months of this year, every patient received only three out of the 9 necessary drugs …
As the government aid is not reliable, representatives of the community organization decided to organize a charity concert, and the raised funds will be earmarked for purchasing necessary medications.
The event will take place on September 9, on Teatralna Sq., at 11.00. The music school students and Friends Dance Corporation have confirmed their participation in the concert.
Organizers urge concerned citizens to come to the concert and help – said "RIO".
