By the end of April, four additional ambulance stations will be opened in the region

In less than a week and a half, permanent deployment of emergency medical care crews will be opened in Lopukhiv (Tyachiv district), Kobyletska Polyana (Rakhiv district), Lypcha (Khust district) and Nyzhniy Koropets (Mukachevo district). Additional 32 personnel members and the necessary funding for these stations have already been allocated.

– Those villages are the most remote in their districts, the need for opening of ambulance stations there has been discussed for over a decade – the head of the Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal said. – People always emphasized the importance of timely arrival of ambulances.

The crews of the opened stations will be serving areas withing the radius of 10-15 kilometers, medics will be providing medical assistance to approximately 40,000 people.
