British jazz performer Juliet Kelly will perform in the “ILKO Gallery”

On February 23, at 7:00 pm, a British jazz performer and songwriter Juliet Kelly will perform in the ILKO Gallery. 

She is called "the voice of the modern jazz scene of England" and one of the best contemporary vocalists. Juliet Kelly will come to Uzhgorod for the first time and present her original program.

The BBC and Jazz Journal’s leading jazz critics admire her as a vocalist comparing her with Cassandra Wilson and Peggy Lee. They say that "her hypnotic songs are enchanting and irresistable" and "her voice seduces and excites the senses."

Juliet’s velvet and flexible voice combines the style of the last century’s jazz divas, such as Billy Holiday, Nina Simon, Ella Fitzgerald, with contemporary and progressive British sound. 

The incredible Juliet Kelly will perform famous jazz standards and original songs together with the trio of one of the best Ukrainian pianists Oleksiy Petukhov.
