In Transcarpathia, it is also called "lobdo – ruzho" (ball flower). This is the flower of the cranberry tree, which has the shape of a "snowball" (Lat. Viburnum opulus var. sterile).

Flavonoids, organic acids, vitamin C and essential oil are found in its flowers.
