Border guards report about the accumulation of cars at checkpoint “Uzhgorod”

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine continues to take all necessary measures to ensure a comfortable border crossing for citizens traveling to both sides of the border.

Now, after holidays and visiting families, many people are returning to their places of residence and work. Because of this, there is an accumulation of cars at the border, in particular the border with EU countries. Queues are observed on the border with Slovakia and Poland.

Thus, the accumulation of cars at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod" on the Ukrainian-Slovak border is about 150 cars. At the main checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border – "Krakivets" and "Rava-Ruska", there are 180 cars each, at "Shehynya" and "Ustyluh", 120 and 150 cars respectively are waiting to cross the border.

The State Border Guard Service asks citizens to take into account this information and advises to choose the optimal routes.
