Border guards of Mukachevo Detachment found 2,500 packs of cigarettes (PHOTO)

Yesterday morning, border guards of the Mukachevo Detachment prevented an attempt of cigarette smuggling.

The offenders tried to carry to Romania 5 packages of tobacco products. The cigarettes were found 50 meters to the border by border guards at the site of the department "Velyky Bychkiv." First, while monitoring the coast of the Tisa river, border guards found four packages wrapped in black plastic bags. Later, near the site of previous finding, they found another package of contraband tobacco.

The found packages, which contained 2,500 packs of cigarettes "Glori", were delivered to the Department of Border Guard Service "Velyky Bychkiv." The measures to identify the persons involved in the illegal movement of tobacco products are being taken.
