A trip abroad turned out unsuccessful and unprofitable for our compatriot. Trying to illegally move cigarettes to Europe, the 27-year-old Ukrainian lost both the cigarettes and the vehicle.
During the inspection of the minibus "Mercedes", that had arrived last night at the checkpoint "Tisa", border guards together with the fiscal service workers found 818 packs of cigarettes "Marlboro". The man tried to carry contraband tobacco products in a specially manufactured cache under a decorative wainscoting of the ceiling.
The cigarettes and the minibus, in which they were hidden, were seized by the customs office, the total value of the confiscated items is more than 57,000 UAH.
