Border guards arrested seven illegal immigrants from Algeria, Sudan, Ivory Coast and Syria

At the site of the department "Uzhgorod" of the Chop detachment, a district inspector of the Border Guard Service detected and detained three suspects, who had arrived by bus "Chernivtsi-Uzhgorod" and were asking locals about crossing the state border outside crossing point.

According to two of them, they are citizens of Algeria, but the third man, a citizen of Syria, had a permanent residence permit in Ukraine.Ttwo weeks ago, the Syrian had already tried to illegally cross the state border in the area of ​​responsibility of the department "Kosyno" of the Mukachevo border guard detachment. Therefore, the issue of his further stay in Ukraine will be decided by court.

Another group of illegal immigrants was detained by border guards at the site of the department "Vylok" of the Mukachevo detachment. The information about unidentified individuals moving in the direction of the border with Hungary was provided to a district inspector of the Border Guard Service by representatives of a public organization.

The response team was sent to arrest the border violators and immediately found four persons without documents.   Two of them reported that they were Sudanese nationals, others were citizens of Algeria and Ivory Cost.

Now, the circumstances and identities of the persons, who helped illegal immigrants in their illegal trip, are being established. Currently, the violators were delivered to the Department of the Border Guard Service. Their further fate will also be decide by court.
