Border guard dog sniffed weapons in a Slovak citizen’s car (PHOTOS)

Yesterday, servicemen of the department "Uzhgorod" stopped a citizen of Slovakia, who tried to carry forbidden "gifts" across the border.

The reason for the in-depth inspection of the car Dacia Duster, which was leaving Ukraine, was the signal of a sniffer dog. Tarsi pointed to the luggage compartment of the car, in which an unexpected items were found. A 6-mm revolver "Alpha", ammunition to it, a metal extendable baton and pills containing narcotics were found by border guards and customs officers in the toolbox. According to the 38-year-old driver, those items were given to him by his acquaintances in Mukachevo.

In accordance with the current legislation, the items were confiscated from the foreigner. The total value of the confiscated items is more than five thousand hryvnia.
