Transcarpathian Regional Library will hold another "library auction" – this time, on St. Nicholas Day.
The event is scheduled to be held in the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Library on December 18, the proceeds will go to support the Ukrainian army.
Books, that will be presented at the auction, were collected by readers and library staff and provided via the NGO "Cultural Space" by Lviv publishing house "A Priori". The literature is designed for the widest audience, the Zakarpattya online informs.
Among the proposed issues, there are real bibliographic rarities and new editions that for whatever reason have not reached Uzhgorod readers.
As you know, books became one of the most popular means to help Transcarpathian soldiers. For example, the next day, on December 19, in Uzhgorod bookstore "Knyharnya", there will be another action, through which books will bring money for gifts to our defenders.
