“Blooming” Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life invites you to a spring exhibition (PHOTOS)

On March 3, 2020, an exhibition of works of fine and decorative arts "Blooming" opened in the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life. 
The exhibition is another event of the Transcarpathian Regional Organizational and Methodological Center of Culture within the framework of the art project "Unexpected Meetings". 
20 artists presented their works. 109 multi-genre works show a wide creative range of the authors. The lion’s share of the exhibition is made up of paintings, the main motive of which is the image of various flower arrangements. Each author has their own style of painting, their own approach to composition, color, but all of them are united by the theme of spring, colors. On the eve of the International Women’s Day, this exhibition will be a great gift for city guests and visitors to our museum.
Along with the painting, other genres of applied arts are on display.

Vasyl Kotsan, the director of the Uzhgorod skansen, and Hanna Drogalchuk, the director of the organizational and methodological center of culture told about the features of this exhibition project and the creative work of its participants. Participants of the exhibition – Veronika Boronnikova, Petro Khodanych, Serhiy Hlushchuk – spoke about the role of the folk master in the development and popularization of contemporary art in all its manifestations. Artistic analysis of the display was presented by Mykhailo Belen.
The atmosphere of the holiday was created by the performance of the amateur ensemble of the folk song "Rosemary" at the Transcarpathian regional organizational and methodical center of culture.
