Biker community of Transcarpathia held a campaigns “Open hands” (PHOTOS)

This was the title of the meeting of Uzhgorod bikers and people with special needs. Prior to this, motorcyclists visited orphanages, conducted campaigns on road safety. This campaign was devoted to a special category of people, wheelchair users.

       The idea of such a meeting was suggested by the initiator of many social campaigns in Uzhgorod, Oleg Chaban. The feature of this event is that motorcycle owners did not just talk with people with disabilities, but also rode them on motorcycles. Therefore, in addition to two-wheeled modern bikes, there were also old motorcycles with sidecar bodies the Bozdosh park. Wheelchair users were happy, even if a bit wary, to ride in a motorcycle sidecar. The meeting included bikers’ stories about their travels, bike trials, delicious food and sweets. People with special needs and bikers opened their hearts and reached out to each other. Thus, starting from September, Uzhgorod bikers, when necessary, will be engaged as volunteers in emergency care for people with special needs, such as escorting or delivery to the hospital.
