The National Contest "Charitable Ukraine – 2016" continues in Ukraine. The contest aims to develop an effective social-oriented charity, philanthropy and volunteerism in the country through public incentives to best benefactors, patrons and volunteers, their organizations and practices.
Winners will be determined in fifteen collective, three individual and four special nominations. The best benefactors, volunteers and patrons of the country and the most effective charitable initiatives will be distinguished with a unique award "Angel of Kindness" which is informally called the charity "Oscar". The awarding ceremony will be held in Kyiv in spring.
The nationwide charitable organization "Association of Philanthropists of Ukraine", which is the founder of the contest, appeals to the public, institutions of humanitarian and social sphere – recipients of charitable aid and benefactors, volunteers and patrons of Transcarpathia with the request to submitt nominees from the region to participate in the contest. Deadline for submission of applications is February 19, 2017.
