Because of the heat, Beregovo started having problems with drinking water

This was reported by the city mayor Zoltan Babyak on his Facebook page.

In particular, he informed that due to the long-term heat and dry weather, the water level in the wells near the village of Hecha, supplying the city with drinking water, has decreased.

Therefore, pursuant to the order of Beregovo City Council dd. 06.08.2013, they introduce temporary restrictions for supply of drinking water to residents of Beregovo.

The restriction will be in force until the end of August. Currently, the water still runs in the taps, but its pressure has decreased.
