In Uzhgorod district, communities of the villages of Kholmok and Baranyntsi and the management of the "Contact-Bud" LLC ask members of the Transcarpathian Regional Council to help in solving the issue of reconstruction of drainage systems and clearing of the Tsyhanivka river bed.
The parliamentary inquiry of the regional deputy Andriy Andriyiv, which was announced during the fourth plenary meeting of the second session of the Regional Council, states: "Today, there is a dangerous situation with the state of the drainage system and the bed of the Tsyhanivka river in the territories of Baranyntsi and Kholmok village councils which are overgrown and incredibly cluttered. This condition can lead to negative consequences, including flooding of the villages upstream and one hundred and twenty hectares of walnut and other stone fruit gardens of the "Contact-Bud" LLC on the territory of the "Karan-III", "Karan-IV" tract of Baranyntsi village council and the "Chadyi" tract of Kholmok village council.
At the request of the company, the State Water Resources Agency of Ukraine, the Tisa river basin water resources administration, the CPSU "Zakarpattyavodproekt" produced construction documents – "Reconstruction of the drainage system in the "Karan-III", "Karan-IV" tract in the territory of Baranyntsi village council and the "Chadyi" tract of Kholmok village council in Uzhgorod district."
The documents were submitted to Uzhgorod District State Administration, but to date the issue of financing of the works remains unresolved."
Given this critical situation, Andriy Andriyiv, on behalf of communities of Baranyntsi, Kholmok and the management of the "Contact-Bud" LLC, appealed to his colleagues to support this request and sent a letter to the management of the Regional State Administration and the Regional Council asking to take all measures. Regional deputies voted for this request, which was forwarded to the Regional Atate Administration for consideration.
