Beach in Uzhgorod (Photo-fact)

In Uzhgorod, there are no places to swim and relax. At least, the Uzh river, which flows through the city center, can not be called such a place.

There are all kinds of garbage on the banks of and in the river: broken glass and plastic bottles, labels and bags… Correspondents of uzhgorod.in were picking up garbage for hours. Unfortunately, Uzhgorod residents are forced to swim among all that to hide from the heat…

Grass is growing around the place, and the promised beach sand is still lying in a pile on Botanichna embankment (near the Philharmonic). And the restroom for vacationers is locked…
