“Barbos” relies on your humanity

A letter with a request for financial support was posted on the official website of the NGO "Barbos" on facebook.

"Ongoing maintenance costs, that currently are fully paid by us, force us again to ask you for financial support…

We are very grateful to those who have long been with us and regularly helps us with money, but these people, unfortunately, are few.
To give you a general idea of our monthly spending, we present some figures:
Payment for electricity is at least 1200 UAH a month; we have water delivered here, so it is many times more expensive than water in appartments, and we spend at least 10 cubic meters a month; sterilization – an average of 250 UAH, and also medicines for sick animals, vaccines and vaccination (we want all our animals go to new owners healthy and vaccinated against dangerous diseases); also 34 animals eat 10kg of dry food a day… and there are other costs (bowls, hygiene, detergents, household chemicals, cleaning tools, building materials – because the shelter is not in a perfect condition), compensation for a guard…

If anyone is not aware of our activities, does not know volunteers personally or does not trust us because of the negative experience with scams, financial assistance can be of a different kind – buying food, necessary equipment, vaccines, payment of veterinarian services etc. You can also come to the shelter, help the volunteers, get to know us personally))

Remember that donation boxes of the Barbos are in the veterinarian clinic at Lehotsky st., 3 (where you can pay directly for services or vaccines), in the Top Secret store in the mall "Luxor."
