Bakoniy Lane in Uzhgorod is illuminated (PHOTOS)

Finally, the relevant services remembered about Bakoniy Lane in Uzhgorod – and now, at night-time, it is illuminated.

The fact that this lane would be useful for Uzhgorod residents needs no proofs, because one can get from the center (Mytraka street) right to Pravoslavna embankment by cutting the way through the lane. Or vice versa – to get from the embankment to Petofi Square.

The fact is that one would be afraid to go there even during the day, let alone at night. Especially since the lane was not illuminated.

The fact is that some Uzhgorod residents often confuse the lane with a garbage dump or a restroom. And this happens in the city center?! Perhaps, the illumination will stop that. 

And for now, it would be appropriate to set a sign with the inscription: "Littering or relieving natural functions in a public place will be fined."
