Azarov won’t give Ledyda money

During the first 9 months of this year, the general fund of local budgets has received taxes and duties amounting to 811.6 million hryvnias, representing 97.1% of the target. During the same period, the regional budget shortfall has been more than eight million hryvnias. At the end of the year, a 10 million shortfall is expected in the regional budget.

During January-September 2013, the region has received from the state budget the equalization grant in the amount of 2 billion 136 million hryvnias, which is 2.6% less than the planned amount. From the state budget, local budgets have received subsidies in the amount of 1 billion 339.8 million hryvnias or 99% of the target for January-September 2013.  The region has received 1,177,100,000 UAH for payment of assistance to families with children, low-income families with disabled children and assistance for orphans and children who are raised in family type orphanages and foster families, 12.7 million hryvnias – for the purchase of medicines for emergency medical care and supplies for health facilities, and only 34.8 million hryvnias – for repair of roads.

Local budget expenditures in January-September 2013 have amounted to 4 billion 367.3 million hryvnias. Most of the money have been spent in the field of social and cultural institutions and social security – 95.1%. Expenditures from the general fund for protected items have amounted to 3 billion 919.7 million hryvnias or 95.2% of total expenditures.
