“AVE” is not a panacea (photo)

Residents of the city were very happy that Uzhgorod became much cleaner since the "AVE" company began to deal with waste removal. But as it turned out, the cleanliness depends not only on them.

The company has its own arrangements with local authorities on cleaning the area around the container sites. The company has equipped them with the new containers, which Uzhgorod residents were so pleased about, as well as about the fact that garbage now is removed on much more regular basis. But the picture around the containers, especially after visits of those who look in the trash for something useful, is still very sad. In addition, debris and other oversized waste continues to accumulate around the sites. As you know, the company is only responsible for limited area of the site and a few meters around it, and the rest is the responsibility of city services. And they do not seem to be willing to upgrade the standards of their work. At least, it follows from the photos taken near the container site on Chelyuskintsiv street.
