According to the Transcarpathian Hydrometeocentre, on 16 – 17 of January, in highlands and mountainous areas of the region, III (significant) level of avalanche hazard remains.
In mountainous areas of the region, there is a threat of snowslides on the roads.
The State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region aks citizens to refrain from going to the mountains until the synoptic situation improves and to follow personal safety rules!
