August 30 is the day of payment

The excise tax for July 2013 must be paid by 30 August.

The Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region remind about the term of payment of this tax liability. In particular, manufacturers of excisable goods must pay the amount of excise duty to the budget within 10 calendar days following the last day of the deadline prescribed for submission of the tax return for the tax period of one month.

Recall that a taxpayer with excisable goods produced in the customs territory of Ukraine, and importer of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products shall submit excise tax return each month by the 20th day of the next period to the authority of the Ministry of income and taxes of Ukraine at the place of registration.

Thus, the last day for payment of the excise tax for July 2013 is August 30 of this year.
