At the Transcarpathian police, 12 people work on drug crimes

The chief of the regional police Roman Stefanyshyn is reporting to the Transcarpathian Regional Council, the session of which is taking place in Uzhgorod.

He told the deputies that after the previous meetings at the sessions, he had performed the task and intensified the activities to combat drug trafficking. Thus, a structural unit with 12 officers was esyablished.

Deputies noted that that, probably, is not enough.

Also they asked the chief of the police about the investigation of crimes that have signs of being commissioned (car and property arson, etc.) and the crime situation in Khust district, including distribution of drugs and political persecution in the district. The chief of the police was ordered to respond to these appeals.

In fact, the report itself was not voiced at the session and is not available to the public – the records were just handed out to the deputies.
