At Mukachevo STI, there was the meeting of the Inspectorate Chief Roman Lunyk with business representatives on "Innovations in the tax law, electronic services of the Ministry of income."
The director of the Inspectorate said that the dialogue with taxpayers was a principled position of the Ministry, because further steps for improvement of the business environment, simplification of payment administration procedures are based on results of bilateral conversations. Given the challenging business conditions in the economic and political situation prevailing in the country, the tax system needs to be changed. Tax officers propose to reduce the amount of taxes, privileges and permissions. Currently, the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine has been created, which deals with issues of taxation and customs policies. A number of important issues for businesses have been submitted for public discussion. First of all, it is the bill on the tax compromise that provides for the relief of taxpayers from responsibility for understatement of tax liability on corporate income tax and value added tax for any tax periods prior to 1 January 2014. The implementation of such a model of compromise between the state and taxpayers will increase revenues to the budget.
Also, experts of the Inspectorate reported that they had modified approaches to control and verification measures, cancelled the requirement of mandatory adjustment based on the results of inspections, introduced risk-oriented system of selection for the documentary checks and so on.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and ended in the "Q&A" format.
