At midnight, a two-story apartment building near Uzhgorod burned down

As reported by the SES, at 11 o’clock in the evening, the dispatcher received a report of a fire in a residential building on Uzhanska Street in Mynai.

Two rescue teams arrived at the scene of the fire. However, later there was a shortage of water and another truck with a tank was sent.

The fire broke out between the first and attic floors. At the time of the rescuers’ arrival, the entire upper floor was engulfed in flames. 

The fire was contained exactly at midnight. Subsequently, the fire was extinguished completely.

The fire destroyed the floor, ceiling and attic floor. 

The cause of the fire and the damage caused by the fire are currently being determined.
