As directed by the prosecution, strict mode of border crossing has been introduced at customs posts of the region

At the direction of the Acting Prosecutor of Transcarpathian region Andriy Bakay, together with employees of customs office and border service, to prevent damage to the public interest, the strict mode of border crossing "at the exit" has been introduced at all customs posts of the region.

         The prosecutor’s office adopted this decision due to the fact that in the current situation there is a threat of unlawful transportation of unique heritage of the Museum Fund of Ukraine, as well as that of exceptional scientific, historical, artistic or other cultural significance from the country.

It is also necessary to pay special attention to established restrictions on transportation of foreign currency and precious metals across the customs border of Ukraine without appropriate license.

         Therefore, it is necessary to ensure strict implementation of the Law of Ukraine "On export, import and return of cultural property", as well as the Order of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dd. 21.05.2012, № 448 "On the Procedure for export (transfer) of precious metals, precious stones and products made of them, and cultural values from​ the customs territory of Ukraine."
