Artists from Darmstadt will present their work in the Skansen (Announcement)

For the first time, artists from Darmstadt (Germany) will present their works in Uzhgorod.

The opening of the exhibition will be held on August 23 at 12.00, in the exhibition halls of the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life.

The partnership between the cities contributes to mutual understanding through the prism of culture. After all, art conveys values and allows people to better understand each other. That is why the goal of the exhibition, as well as the initiators – the organization "Darmstadt supports culture" – is a cultural exchange, involving local artists in active cooperation.

Curators: Klaus Blacher, Paul Hirsch and Taras Tabaka. 
Both Uzhgorod and Darmstadt City authorities , the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, NGO "Darmstadt-Uzhgorod Partner Association", Darmstadt Union of Artists and the German-Ukrainian NGO "German-Ukrainian Circle of Friends" have actively contributed to the organization.
