Any means to attract tourists

In order to develop new types of tourism, a new tourism route has been developed in Transcarpathia that will allow to attract fans of beer to Uzhgorod, the Tourinform Transcarpathia writes.

As you know, beer is the third most popular beverage in the world after water and tea. Many European cities already have the traditions of holding such attractions. These include Prague, Munich, Bruges, London, Dublin and many others. Given the beer potential of our region, namely 9 existing breweries, the organizers decided to make Uzhgorod one of such cities.

The purpose of this route was to get tourists acquainted with the history and tradition of brewing in the world as well as in Transcarpathia, and of course tasting of beer with exciting stories about the creation of each of the varieties. Transcarpathian, Ukrainian and imported beer was presented.

The organizers of the project have found an alternative to conventional "get together" at the bar, turning an ordinary Friday evening to an interesting and informative way to spend leisure time.

That said, the tour was impressive. The participants discovered many interesting things about the history and culture of brewing and beer itself. And tasting of beer from the best brewers of Ukraine and the world was a wonderful bonus.

Recall that the active promotion of Transcarpathian beer began in March, when the first conference of local brewers took place.
