Antiterrorist training involving the National Guard took place Transcarpathia

For two days, the search for a reconnaissance group was taking place in Transcarpathian region, on the territory of Perechyn and Velyky Berezny districts. However, it was just a training that was conducted as part of the work plan of the coordination group of the Antiterrorist Center at the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region.

Police officers, rescuers and the personnel of the 2 Galician brigade of the Western Operational Territorial Unit of the National Guard of Ukraine were involved in the tactical training.

"These days, we have been rehearsing the scenario of preparation and conducting of the counter-sabotage operation on the territory of these two districs of Transcarpathia, – the chief of the battalion headquaters Major Oleksiy Lanovy says. – The National Guards officers were setting up roadblocks, inspecting cars with other law enforcement officers. All that was taking place in real time."
