Anti-terrorist excercises took place in Transcarpathia (VIDEO)

On May 30, the large-scale training in the elimination of a possible terrorist threat continued in the territory of Perechyn and Velyky Berezny districts. This planned two-day tactical and special anti-terrorist training was conducted by the Anti-Terrorist Center Coordination Group at the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region.

The anti-terrorist units involved in the training rehearsed the whole complex of measures to neutralize saboteurs. According to the tactical plan of exercises, terrorists planned to commit on the territory of two neighboring districts bombings, arsons and other criminal acts aimed at destroying or damaging critical facilities.  

Thanks to the joint actions of the security forces, the "terrorists" were identified and detained, the consequences of their acts were neutralized. The ATC Coordination Group thoroughly analyzed every stage of the training, noting the high level of readiness of counter-terrorism actors to combat sabotage and terrorist threats in extreme conditions and the effective use of forces and means
