Another Uzhgorod festival will be led at the international level

The 7^th festival of modern spiritual music will be held in Uzhgorod in the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic on June 15-16. 

The hosts of the holiday are the chamber choir ‘Cantus’ representatives told about this year’s festival peculiarities at a meeting with journalists. In particular, this new program includes the majority of All-Ukrainian and world premieres’ works. Works of this concert will overcome any stereotypes about modern music: so many lyrics, poetry, beauty, ‘not too pompous Shevchenko’ and sophisticated music which can satisfy even the most demanding listener. At least organizers claim this with passion.

It is planned to lead the festival at international level, and the first step to this goal is the cooperation with Polish conductor Roman Revakovych, who, according to him, is a bridge between Poland and Ukraine for many years already.
