Another Transcarpathian with coronavirus has died

The 19th victim of coronavirus infection has been reported. A man from the village of Bronka, Irshava district, died last night at the Regional Center for Pulmonary Diseases.
He was hospitalized yesterday afternoon, before that he had been treated at the Irshava district hospital.
The chief doctor of the district hospital, Serhiy Karaslay, said that the 40-year-old man had been admitted to the medical institution last Thursday in serious condition. It is known that the deceased was taking treatments at home for a month.
“A man from Bronka with a temperature of 39 and with severe viral pneumonia. Hospitalized in the infectious diseases department, samples were taken for PCR tests, unfortunately, they were positive. The full treatment program was used, but the man’s condition was deteriorating. On Tuesday morning we sent him to Uzhgorod for further treatment, but at night we were informed that the patient had died,” – the doctor said.
