Another tender for carriers on regional routes took place in Transcarpathia

Today, at the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, there was another meeting of the regional tender committee to determine carriers on intercity and suburban bus routes in the region. The meeting was conducted by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee, the Acting Director of Housing, Construction and Infrastructure Department of the RSA Eduard Malyar.

Applicant carriers submitted 18 sets of documents for participation in the tender at 20 sites. At one of the sites, two carriers were participating in the tender, so the winner was determined using a point system.

As a result, they identified 17 winners, who will be serving intercity bus routes of common use. In particular, four of them were granted the right to provide passenger transportation services for 5 years: the carrier Patskan M will be working on the route Khust – Uzhgorod, the carrier Furman M – on Uzhgorod – Vynogradiv, Khovanets M – on Uzhgorod – Shayan, Horvat Y – on Uzhgorod – Rakhiv.

According to the Deputy Chief of the Ukrtransinspection in Transcarpathian region Serhiy Keis, safety of transportion and quality of the service are a priority. Thus, supervisory authorities and organizers of the transportation in the city will be carrying out joint control over the provision of services for passenger transportation.
