Another facade of the “old Uzhgorod” has been completely destroyed (PHOTOS)

"Congratulations, Uzhgorod residents! Another facade of the "old Uzhgorod" has been completely destroyed. Under the passive eyes of those who should have punished for it. No permission for these transformations has been issued. Here, people can do anything without permission, and then legalize it retroactively!"

Here’s how Uzhgorod residents comment on the situation:

Igor Fartushok "The city council has exhausted all legal ways of influencing. Town-planning conditions were not issued, the order was issued, the fine was imposed, in January, after our appeal, a criminal case was initiated. It should have resulted in the ban on the construction and demolition of the illegal structures."

And we remind that members of the Council for the Protection of Cultural Heritage reviewed the project of the facade at Tolstoy st. 7A. It is the building of the former pharmacy, on top which the owner built two more floors without permits. Having already completed the construction, the owner is trying to legalize it. The council members at yesterday’s meeting said they would not consider this issue and would not justify the illegal construction. Thus the documentation submitted by the architect was rejected for the second time, leaving the building in the status of illegal.
