Another “bomber” ruined the evening for visitors of a restaurant in Uzhgorod

Today, about 2.00, the police received a report of alleged mining of the restaurant "A priori" in Uzhgorod on Nezalezhnist embankment. Due to the bomb threat, 120 people – visitors and staff – were evacuated from the restaurant. This was reported by the spokesperson of the National Police Office in Transcarpathian region Galina Sernivka.

It began with the call to the police from a mobile phone. The man introduced himself as an inhabitant of Irshava district, Transcarpathian region, and even said his name and patronymic. The examination of the restaurant premises lasted about an hour and a half.

As a result, the police registered the incident in the URPI under Art. 259 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (knowingly false report of a threat to the safety of citizens, destruction or damage of property).

Currently, law enforcement officers are carrying out necessary checks, in particular checking the identity of the person, who reported the bombing, and the number of the cell phone from which the call was made.
