March 7 marks 165 years since the birth of the first president of the Czechoslovak Republic TG Masaryk, historian Mykhailo Delegan reminds, posting on his page in the social network a photo of the TG Masaryk bust in Uzhgorod. As is known, the rapid and successful architectural development of the city is attributed to his presidency.
And in these days, Uzhgorod residents are attracting attention of the authorities to the object linked to the "Czechoslovak period" of Uzhgorod: "Would you order public utilities to restore these stairs in the Masaryk park?
Why weren’t they restored when the Czechs gave money for this small park? They are in charge of this little park" – they ask through social networks.
