An Uzhgorod police officer faces at least 5 years and confiscation of property for a $ 500 bribe

<span id="goog-gtc-unit-17" class="goog-gtc-unit" style="font-size: 1.1em;"><span class="goog-gtc-translatable goog-gtc-from-human">An inspector of the permit system of the public order sector of the Uzhgorod City Police Department was caught on bribe in the amount of $ 500.</span></span><span style="font-size: 1.1em;"> </span>

The police officer demanded and received from a 27-year-old resident of Uzhgorod $ 500 for urgent issuance of the permit to purchase a hunting rifle. The policeman gave the latter the permit, and immediately afterwards was caught at the scene of the criminal offense by officers of the internal security department of MIA of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region.
