An old book was unearthed in the backyard of Mukachevo City Hall (PHOTOS)

It was found during the demolition of an old wall of the technical facilities in the backyard of Mukachevo City Council, where a new building of the Administrative Services Center is being erected, the Mukachevo.net informs.

The book was found in a wall by a local resident, whose house is next to the backyard of the municipality.

On the cover of the book, there is a title in Hungarian "Complaints to the municipality" – city or, perhaps, village council. The year is also specified – 1911, when Mukachevo was part of Austria-Hungary.

Perhaps, it is a book of townspeople’s complaints to local authorities, where they, as seen in the book, would register complaints, write their names, and the complaints would be reviewed at the City Hall. Since most modern neighborhoods of the city at that time were villages, complaints could have been registered in one of these local communities.

In total, 892 complaints were registered and reviewed in 1911, and on December 31 the book was sealed.
