An alternative to the dismantled photozone: all that we deserve

Not so long ago, after about a dozen vandal attacks, the photo zone "I love Uzhgorod" was dismantled from Poshtova Square.

What do we have as a result? Damaged reputation of Uzhgorod residents and disappearance of the rather popular location. After all, every day a lot of residents and visitors of Uzhgorod were having their photos taken against the background of the big letters on Poshtova Square. 

Now, it’s gone. But if you still want to make a selfie against the background of declaration of love to Uzhgorod, go to Shvabska street. At the intersection with Zhemaite street, next to the store, you will see a banner with exactly those words. Yes, it’s cheep, but that’s all we’ve got… Until we all learn to truly love our city, we will have to make do with this surrogate.

We do not deserve anything more than that. Unfortunately…
