On June 5-7, Transcarpathia will host the All-Ukrainian competition of ambulance crews. 43 crews from all regions of Ukraine, as well as from Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia and Poland will take part in the competition.
Our region is the host of the rally this year, because last year, in Cherkasy, the crew of the Transcarpathian territorial center of emergency medical aid won the first place.
The base of this year’s competition will be the village of Yanoshi in Beregovo district. From there, on June 5, 33 ambulance vehicles will drive to Uzhgorod. There, the solemn opening of the competition will be held at 9.30 on Narodna square. Then, the scientific and practical conference "Emergency medical care and disaster medicine of Ukraine in peace and war time" will begin in UzhNU, and the 1st stage of drivers’ competition will begin in Uzhgorod airport.
The main competitions in close to real conditions, awarding of the winners and the closing ceremony will be held on June 6th and 7th in Beregovo district. Attention, drivers: in the morning, on June 5, Narodna sq. in Uzhgorod will be closed for vehicles.
