A wooden church brought from Transcarpathia burned down in the Czech Republic (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

The wooden church of St. Michael caught fire on Wednesday morning, October 28.

According to the Novinky, the fire in the wooden church in the Kinsky Garden near Petryn in Prague was extinguished by six fire brigades.

The fire first broke out in the bottom part of the wooden structure, and then the flames engulfed the entire church.

Unfortunately, the fire destroyed the church completely, and the tower of the wooden temple collapsed.

Investigators later arrived on the scene to find out the cause of the fire.

Note that the church of St. Michael was built in Transcarpathia in the second half of the 17th century. In the first half of the 20th century the church was brought to Prague, where it became part of the collections of the Ethnographic Museum.
