A woman who was injured by a falling icicle on Shvabska street was hospitalized to the Transcarpathian Neurological Center

Information about the state of the patient who was injured by a falling icicle was reported by the Transcarpathian Regional Health Center.

Today, information about a person injured by an icile was spread in social networks. The incident happened in Uzhgorod on Shvabska Street.

According to the doctor of the Transcarpathian Regional Clinical Center for Neurosurgery and Neurology Andriy Potoki, today, a 56-year-old woman with a scalped head wound – damage to the soft tissues of the head – was delivered to the institution. According to eyewitnesses, the injury was caused by the drop of an icicle. The victim was provided with all the necessary medical care, the patient’s condition is stable, there is no danger to her life. However, she was hospitalized to the Regional Clinical Center for Neurosurgery and Neurology for wound care and follow-up.
