The incident happened in the summer of this year in Beregovo, at the victim’s place of residence. With the intent of property theft, the man broke into a house, where he was found by the owner of the apartment. To complete his criminal intent, the convict struck the woman several times in the face and torso, causing her to lose consciousness. The robber meanwhile stole household appliances from the house and fled from the scene.
Taking into account all the circumstances of the case and the evidence of the prosecutors, the court found the man guilty of the crime and sentenced him to 8 years in prison. The verdict has not yet come into force, it still can be appealed.
